Lactation & Feeding Support

Feeding your baby can be a beautiful thing, but can often come with challenges. We believe that community, education and support are vital to helping families through feeding journeys and the transition to becoming parents. If you’re planning to breast/chest feed, or not, we can help you make a plan that works for you & your family and help navigate any challenges that may come up. We want you and your baby to be comfortable and confident in the process. We provide non-judgmental, inclusive support unique to your family. We’re here to help you meet your feeding goals, whatever that looks like to you! We are well versed in a variety of feeding challenges such as: oral ties, painful latch, mastitis, low supply, bottle refusal, pump use & flange sizing, etc.

Lactation visits are typically done in the comfort of your own home, but can also be done virtually for more simple issues, or during one of our clinic days in Saxapahaw.

Our IBCLC, Heather Grissom, is in network with The Lactation Network (TLN). TLN provides pre-approval with your insurance and is in network with most major insurances. Check for pre-approval here: http://go.lactationnetwork.com/HeatherGrissomIBCLC

If you are not in network with TLN we can file with some other insurances or provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement.
