We would highly recommend Haw River Midwifery classes to other pregnant folks! Our teachers were knowledgeable and warm, and the space was so cozy and comfortable. It was lovely to build community with other expecting families & local birth workers. My partner and I came to the class with vastly different experience levels and pre-existing knowledge bases on the topics presented, and yet we both learned a lot and feel more empowered diving into our parenting journey together! Very grateful for this offering!

Also lovely to meet and discuss with other pregnant persons in person. I'm very grateful for this class and the confidence it gave me in the birthing process.

I highly recommend Hannah's Essential Childbirth class! Hannah is extremely knowledgeable, and after taking her class my husband and I feel informed, confident, and excited for our first-time birth experience. Each session was packed with information, but the pacing was perfect so we never felt overwhelmed. Hannah also offered a perfect balance of lecture, activities, and conversation, and she created a safe space where we felt comfortable to ask questions and be vulnerable. She also has a great lending library and served delicious snacks each week. I really can't say enough positive things about this class!

We weren't sure we needed a birth class or if a 12 hour class was really necessary, but it was a great investment! I would highly recommend everyone take some sort of birth class and especially this one with Hannah! The in-person format was great for us and we really appreciated interacting with other students and to be able to ask questions and discuss topics. Really cannot recommend this class enough.
